参画企業による講義を実施（筑波大学大学院「リスクと安心の科学哲学特論」） Lecture on "Philosophical Scientific Perspectives on Risk and Safety" Conducted with Support from a Consortium Member
筑波大学大学院リスク・レジリエンス工学学位プログラムでは、コンソーシアム参画機関との連携により、多彩な講義を開設しています。
7月15日から17日にかけて、本コンソーシアム副会長であり、セコムIS研究所の甘利康文先生を講師にお迎えし、3日間の集中講義「リスクと安心の科学哲学特論」が開講されました。
本講義では、「安全」「安心」「セキュリティ」「リスク」とは何かという根本的な問いを出発点として、リスク・レジリエンス研究に共通する基礎的な考え方について学びました。また、人間の認識やコミュニケーション、技術、社会との関わりにも目を向けながら、多様な課題を考えるための視点や思考法について理解を深めました。
リスク・レジリエンスを学ぶ学生にとって、専門分野の垣根を越えて共通する視点や思考法に触れ、自身の研究をより広い視野から捉え直すことのできる、非常に有意義な時間となりました。

The Degree Program in Risk and Resilience Engineering at the University of Tsukuba offers a wide range of courses in collaboration with organizations participating in the Consortium.
From July 15 to 17, an intensive three-day course entitled "Philosophical Scientific Perspectives on Risk and Safety" was held. The course was taught by Dr. Yasufumi Amari of SECOM IS Laboratory, who also serves as Vice Chair of the Consortium.
The course explored fundamental questions such as “What do safety, assurance, security, and risk mean?” and examined the foundational concepts shared across the field of risk and resilience studies. Participants also deepened their understanding of perspectives and ways of thinking that are essential for addressing complex issues, including the roles of human cognition, communication, technology, and society.
For students studying risk and resilience, the course provided a valuable opportunity to learn perspectives and modes of thinking that transcend disciplinary boundaries and to reexamine their own research from a broader viewpoint.
